Thunder Over Louisville 2016 is quickly approaching; here’s a list of places you can watch!
Parks:
The number one place everyone will be, the main stage for the event, Waterfront Park is front and center for all the action. A Pegasus Pin is your ticket to everything from the Thunder Chow Wagon to the family fun zone.

Riverstage will be hosting their Thunder Throwdown Concert sponsored by Q103.1 featuring Chris Lane, Wildwood and the Shane Dawson Band.

With a great view of the Ohio River, this lesser-known spot may be just the place for a peaceful Thunder viewing.

Van Dyke/Riverfront Park
One of the many parks located along the riverfront in Indiana. Better head there early to seek out a prime spot.

Restaurants:
Located in the old waterfront Tumbleweed, Doc’s has a great view of the river. Food is including in the cost of your seat.

This Jeffersonville restaurant is riverside to all the action: watch the show from a dining room, bar or patio. Cost will include all food, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks, and sales tax.

Buckhead Mountain Grill will be having their 9th Annual Craft Beer Extravaganza: with have 20+ craft beers to taste, food included in the ticket. This events is 21+

Rocky’s Thunder event will feature live music, food for purchase, a prime Thunder view.

On Thunder, Kingfish will offer inside seating, lower deck seating, and public tent seating. All seats include a buffet.

Enjoy the excitement and spectacle of Thunder Over Louisville from the comfort of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Make The Kentucky Center your home base for the day while you take in all the action. Families will appreciate convenient access to the Center’s restrooms, activities for the kids, and foodservice and concessions without waiting in long lines. There will be multiple bars located around the building where adults can enjoy a variety of beer and wine options.

The historic Galt House has 3 viewing party options for multiple budgets. You don’t even have to stay overnight (but why wouldn’t you?). Two of the available parties are 21+, but there is a lot more to do than drink.
When: Thunder VIP 1 p.m. - 12 a.m.; Thunder Under Cover 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.; Thunder in the Conservatory 3 p.m. - 1 a.m.

First come first served seating, but aboard these beautiful, historic boats is a great place for Thunder viewing. Boats stay dockside so you can come and go and check out the goings-on around the wharf.

Slugger Field has one of the best deals in town for Thunder viewing. For a fraction of the cost of some viewings, you get access to the air and fireworks show, a free concert, and a Bats game. You also have the freedom to come and go as you please from the stadium.

Truly an experience for families, the Kentucky Science Center’s Thunderblast 2016 will have science shows, science activities, giant board games, inflatable bounce houses and slide. There will be lots of food trucks on hand to keep the party going.

The third floor party room at the KFC YUM! Center overlooks 2nd street bridge and all of the Thunder action. There will be a cash bar, a DJ, and more.
