    The Danger Run Begins!
For the last 20 years, Danger Run fans from near and far have gathered together in the chilly fall air to solve clues in a Halloween quest that leads them throughout the city in search of the area’s best haunted houses. The object of the spooky game is to follow the clues and make as few mistakes as possible to accumulate the most accurate mileage. The Top 25 closest to exact mileage are invited to the final showdown to compete for huge prizes and the title of Danger Run Champ. Traditionally, the Danger Run has included two haunted destinations with the scavenger hunt style game. For 2014, founder and company president, Joe Bulleit, along with his partners, Michael Book and Mike Kimzey, wanted to celebrate their 20th Anniversary by giving back to their fans. For the first time in their history, the Danger Run will include 3 haunted attractions in the Danger Run adventure. For just $20 per person, Danger Run participants will get an entire evening of unique Halloween entertainment including the fun scavenger hunt style game, admission to three haunted attractions (valued at $60 per person), free food from DQ Grill and Chill, free fangs and a $10 Speedway gas card for carloads of four or more. 771-9750

    Louisville AIDS Walk
Join thousands of supporters for the 21st Annual Louisville AIDS Walk and “Paws for a Cause” Pet Walk on Sunday, September 21, 2014—hosted on the Belvedere along Louisville’s beautiful waterfront. The Walk is Kentuckiana's largest annual HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event. Each year, thousands of Louisville and Southern Indiana residents come together in remembrance, celebration and hope. We walk to renew our commitment to the fight for a cure and support of those affected by HIV/AIDS in our community—all funds directly support the individuals served by the Kentuckiana AIDS Alliance! We will gather on the Belvedere at 485 W. Main Street, at the corner of Main and 5th Street in Downtown Louisville. The Walk will begin and end on the Belvedere. Participants will enjoy scenic river views as they walk the three-mile course through and around Louisville’s beautiful waterfront. This event is “rain or shine”—and be sure to bring your pets!
