    Erin Keane

Erin Keane is the author of three books of poems. The most recent, Demolition of the Promised Land, comes out this month from Typecast Publishing. A graduate of the Spalding University MFA in Writing program, she teaches in National University's MFA department and works as the arts and humanities reporter and theatre critic for WFPL, Louisville's NPR station.

    What she’s reading:

“I just returned from the annual AWP conference, which is a mighty big gathering of writers and literary presses. Here's a small sampling of what's on deck for me for the next couple of months: Kyle Minor's short story collection Praying Drunk (from Louisville's own Sarabande Books); Drawn to Marvel: Poems from the Comic Books (an anthology), Abide, the posthumous collection of poems by Jake Adam York, Tania Runyan's poetry collection Second Sky, Russell Dillon's Eternal Portal, Julia Bloch's poetry collection Letters to Kelly Clarkson, Michael Wayne Hampton's novella Roller Girls Love Bobby Knight, Jacinda Townsend's brand new first novel Saint Monkey, and Benjamin Myers's poetry collection Lapse Americana.

    Whew! Lots of reading ahead!"
