We see you appreciate a good vintage. But there comes a time to try something new. Click here to head over to the redesigned Louisville.com. It's where you'll find all of our latest work. And plenty of the good ol' stuff, too, looking better than ever.

    Bit to Do

    Print this page

    1. Go see Jennifer Lawrence in Catching Fire

In case you weren't aware, J-Law is from the 'ville and we all love her. Catching Fire is visually stunning and emotionally rousing. Check out our coverage of the midnight premier (with costumes!).

    2. Catch War Horse at the Kentucky Center

A great production with awesome, lion-king style puppets standing in for actual horses. Shows are Friday at 8, Saturday at 2 and 8, and Sunday at 1 and 6:30. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here

    3. 3rd Annual NuLu Holiday Open House

On Saturday November 23 many businesses in NuLu will be offering sales, discounted food, and freebies. Included in the list of participants is Why Louisville (you get a free vintage Louisville poster with a $10+ purchase) Harvest and Garage Bar (10% off meal with a receipt from another NuLu business) and so many more.

    4. See MGMT or David Cook

MGMT is performing Friday evening at the Louisville Palace at 8:00pm; and American Idol winner David Cook is performing at Headliner's at 7pm on Saturday. You can buy tickets for MGMT here and David Cook here

    5. NoWhere Bar: Glitter Friday and Prism Saturday

I love to get my dance on, and NoWhere Bar on Bardstown Road is the right place to do it this weekend. On November 22 you can enter a drawing to win Justin Timberlake tickets. Friday night popular DJ duo Glittertitz will be spinning, and on Saturday it's DJ Prism. There's no cover charged before midnight, and after midnight on both nights it's $5.00.
