91.9 WFPK is an integral part of the vibrant Louisville music community. We are fortunate to have a radio station that fuels a circle of musical stimulation. That influence needs to continue with the help of the listeners.
WFPK is one of the top AAA stations in the country. They also have an award winning Music Director, Kyle Meredith, who also hosts the syndicated show The Weekly Feed. They sponsor many music endeavors in the city, including the popular (and free!) Waterfront Wednesdays. The last one drew 12,000 people.
Not only does WFPK play and promote Louisville artists, it is often the first place to hear artists who go on and claim national recognition, such as Mumford & Sons and Fun.. WFPK was actually the first radio station in the country to play Fun. and now they are everywhere!
In order to continue their efforts to make Louisville a more enjoyable place to live and work, WFPK needs sustaining members. This is the listeners’ turn to give back to the public radio station that has given so much to the community. For more information, go to wfpk.org.
