Imagine walking through the grassy fields of Great Stage Park during the second weekend of June right in the middle of the annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Beer cans and handmade hemp blankets cover the ground beneath your feet and the exciting aroma of illegal substances mixed with earthy patchouli fills the air. You watch your step as you travel across the field, avoiding landing your foot on the dreadlock of a snoozing fellow music-lover. Each body you see is adorned with eclectic piercings and paisley tattoos. And while everyone around you is fully active in interpretive dance, you can’t help but to join in and surrender to a loud powerful jam band performance.

Now imagine this experience packed inside of the Louisville Palace and you have yourself a Widespread Panic concert.

The Louisville Palace was alive Saturday night with hit after dance-worthy hit performed live by the jam band. The sold-out show definitely did not disappoint as fans from all over Kentucky and surrounding states gathered together for thrillingly impressive live music.

And for those who didn’t get tickets before they were gone, we’re sharing some pictures from the mind-blowing evening.
