Velocity Indiana, the business accelerator that offers scholarships, mentoring, and co-working space to Louisville’s startup community, will host its third annual Demo Day on Monday, September 29. The event will be held at the Frazier History Museum and will showcase the graduating class of Velocity’s summer session. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. In addition to an open bar and live music, attendees will get the opportunity to learn about new businesses in the Louisville community as well as how to invest in and help those businesses.
According to Velocity, the following teams will be represented at the event:
Calculingua - Modernizing knowledge creation with a Software as a Service platform for scientists and engineers to analyze data, collaborate and publish.
Complete Set - A collector-curated database of collectibles
findCRA - An online platform for banks to connect with nonprofits for community reinvestment projects.
Room in the Moon - Introduces people who are moving to the same city and helps them to acclimate to the new city including locating places to live.
Soccer Sidekick - A patented soccer training ball that helps young athletes develop better ball control skills.
SpotDy - Empowers developers to build scalable smart applications in hours, not months.
The Recovery Station - A kiosk that dispenses customized protein shakes.
US Chia - Produces American-grown chia seeds to be sold for human and animal nutrition.
