Considered by director Mike Ramach to represent a “gold standard” of a great opera, Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, translated as ‘All women are like that’, tells the story of a young love with comedic twists and turns. Melding the beautiful music from one of the classical masters with libretto writer, Lorenzo Da Ponte, its daring plot still proves politically incorrect as much today as it did when it first opened in 1790.

The School of Music Opera Theatre at the University of Louisville will perform Cosi fan tutte at 8pm on March 30th and at 2 pm on April 1st at the Kentucky Center’s Bomhard Theater, located at 501 W Main St. Tickets can be purchased from the Kentucky Center box office by calling 502-584-7777 or online at www.kentuckycenter.org

. They cost $10 for students and UofL affiliates and $20 for the general public.
