Remember when Snapchat featured Louisville on the exact day of the Whiskey Row fire? Louisville's first impression on the world of Snapchat was, much like a note from our favorite spirit, charred. Since that day, seeing Louisville in national headlines has been, more often than not, cringe-worthy.
On Black Friday 2015 Louisville was trending nationally again: this time because of a brawl at St. Matthews Mall. In an incident that will certainly go down in history as one of the most egregious examples of Western excess and capitalism ever witnessed in the modern age, the video shows two "Kentucky bargain hunters" going at it in St. Matthews:
