SkyBar is revitalizing its Friday night dance party this Friday night at 11 with special guests Glittertitz DJz. If you haven’t been to a Glittertitz show, get ready for a crazy dance party with crazy beats, lasers and fog. Lots and lots of fog. If you have been to one of their shows, then you know it’s like being in a club in outer space.
SkyBar is the music venue located directly above Saints Pizza and Pub in the heart of St. Matthews. Saints and SkyBar recently went through management changes and extensive renovations. The new managers are now ready to restart this once popular event.
Plans are still preliminary, but Jenny Drake, marketing coordinator, hopes to see this as a resurgence of SkyBar as a nightlife spot. For now, Glittertitz DJz will play every other Friday night, with other music acts taking the stage in between those shows.
There’s a $5 cover at the door. Drink specials start at 10.
