Changes have taken place since the last time two sisters saw each other, and the audience can find out what happened. Elemeno Pea opens as part of the Humana Festival tomorrow.

Performances of Elemeno Pea will take place at various times and days between March 8 and April 3.  The first show is tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. All shows will go on in the Pamela Brown Auditorium, located in Actors Theatre at 316 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for Elemeno Pea depend on the performance.  Tomorrow night's show has tickets available for $23 and $31, depending on the seat. Tickets during the run may be as low as $23 or as high as $59 per person.

Ticket information for all shows can be found by going to the Actors Theatre website, the Actors Theatre box office, or by calling the box office at 502-584-1205.  Due to strong language, the show is recommended for those of high school age or older.

In Elemeno Pea, Devon goes to Marha's Vineyard to visit and celebrate with her sister Simone, who has become a personal assistant to Michaela Kell, a well-off trophy wife.  Simone lives a beachfront lifestyle that is much different from her growing up days in Buffalo.

However, by the time Devon sees Simone, Devon is shocked to see her sister changed dramatically.

Davis McCallum directed Elemeno Pea, which Molly Smith Metzler created.

Also playing at Actors Theatre are the shows A Devil at Noon and Maple and Vine.  All shows are part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays.  Other shows to come include Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, The End, The Edge of Our Bodies, and a 10-minute play festival, among other events.  More information can be found at the Actors Theatre website.
