It's about to happen if it hasn't already: the onslaught of magazines and coupons in your mailbox heralding the arrival of Spring and nudging you to clean out your closets to make room for new clothes. What will your kids wear to all the Spring holidays, graduations, showers, and parties?
When you're unable to buy brand new outfits for every member of your family—especially the little growing ones who will only wear it one season—and you also need to clear out your closets, basement, or garage, consignment stores and yearly sales may be your answer. Cheaper clothes and more space in which to store them—it's really a win-win for everyone.
Below is a list of three major consignment sales in the Louisville area this spring. Consignors usually get discounts and first dibs at clothing, toys, furniture, and gear at preview days. Go to the website or call for more updated information, as dates and consignor details are likely to change.
