    Savage Rose Classical Theater Company will present a Shakespearean comedy and an English Restoration comedy in repertory beginning this weekend.

    The Taming of the Shrew and The Rover will be performed at various times and dates between Mar. 15 and Mar. 30.  (Check the Savage Rose calendar for exact times and dates.) All performances will go on at Walden Theatre, located at 1123 Payne Street in the Highlands.  

    Tickets for most shows are $17 for adults, and $12 for students.  March 18 and 25 shows are $12 for all persons.  A ticket for both shows is only $30 per person.  All tickets can be reserved by calling 502-599-3011.  

    The Shakespearean comedy Taming of the Shrew looks at two daughters and the father who won't let the younger one marry until the older one also has a husband.  The Rover, meanwhile, features contemporary issues of love, class, and gender differences as an exiled group goes to Naples in order
