Help benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by entering the first annual Rooties for Hooties Cornhole Tournament at Rootie's Sports Bar and Grille, 12205 Westport Road on Friday, October 22, 2010. Show up for happy hour, and sign up beginning at 5:30 p.m. The blind draw, double-elimination tournament begins at 6:30 p.m., and happy hour lasts until 7:00. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning team, items will be raffled, and each participant receives a door prize.

"Rootie's is happy to host this tournament to help raise money for such a great cause," said Marty Stein, Rootie's owner. "Since moving to Louisville in 2008, we have looked for ways to help support the community like being a sponsor for the Kentucky Derby Festival. We hope this can be an annual event."

Space is limited, so be sure to get to Rootie's early. Registration fees are $20 per person/$40 per team of two.

For more information about Rootie's Sports Bar and Grille, visit Rooties.com, or call (502) 365-4681.

Rootie's barbecue sauce is now a Kentucky Proud product.
