Sometimes a thank you isn’t enough for decadent, luscious, and taste thrilling food. The Rising Stars Gala features the top chefs from Louisville to Nashville and Memphis showing off their culinary expertise. Guests of the gala will experience a foodie’s heaven with a chorus of angels singing at the first tasting of the culinary experts pride and joy.
Louisville is now not only the proud home to a delicious food scene catching national attention, but the honored home of the 2014 Rising Star Gala. The Rising Star Gala, hosted by StarChefs.com an award-winning online magazine for culinary insiders, showcases regional chefs shining with the brightest culinary promise. The tasting gala to take place on Feb. 25th at the Muhammad Ali Center follows the award ceremony. StarChefs.com presents awards to the best in the region for the Mixology award, Rising Stars Art of Presentation award, Mentor award and Best Dish.
While the night is full of the finest assortments, handpicked restaurant favorites, and elite beverage pairings and cocktails, attendees to the Rising Star Gala will also contribute to the Louisville Food Literacy Project. A portion of the night’s proceeds are to be donated to Louisville’s Food Literacy Project, a nonprofit providing farm-based education and entrepreneurial youth programs.
