    Bit to Do

Last year, "Midnights at the Baxter" shook the lackluster summer movie scene with its "Splodin' Summer Series". The films (Army of Darkness, The Fifth Element, Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan, Pulp Fiction, The Good the Bad and the Ugly and Serenity) were those filled with outstanding fight sequences, special effects and just plain summer movie fun.  They are films that are truly intended to be seen only on the big screen. "The Return of the Splodin' Summer Series" revisits this theme with this year's lineup. All films were chosen based upon the suggestions and the voting of our regular midnight attendees.

    May 12 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day
May 26 - Conan the Barbarian
    June 9 - Batman (1989)
    June 30 - They Live
    July 14 - Jurassic Park
July 28 - Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
    August 11 - Robocop

August 25 - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
    September 15 - Team
    America: World Police
    September 29 - Aliens

Local t-shirt designer Widow's Peak Designs will be at every show, selling exclusive t-shirt to commemorate the film being shown that evening. At $10.00 each, they make a great souvenir  to take away from the evening.

An additional contribution to the summer lineup is "Dazed and Confused" on June 2 in honor of the /files/storyimages/of the school year.   While the multitude of Hollywood sequels may fail to please, "Midnights at the Baxter" is proud to offer films that are sure-fire entertainment.  All shows are $8.00 and advance tickets can be reserved at www.baxter8.com.   For more information,  please contact the theatre at 456-4404.
