    Here ye, here ye! Your attendance is asked for the Highland Renaissance Festival, now taking place not far from Louisville.

    The Highland Renaissance Festival is now underway and will continue on weekends until July 11 at 955 Elm Street in Eminence, KY. The facility will be open each Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. rain or shine.

    Tickets for the festival are available at the facility. Adult day passes are $12, and child (6-12 years of age) day passes are $6. Children five years of age and under may enter free. Weekend passes (adult $20, child $10), and season passes ($60) are also available for sale. More information can be found at the festival website.

    The Highland Renaissance Festival will include various Renaissance-styled events, foods, and shops, including artwork, jousting, dancing, and performers along the walking paths.

    Among the performers at the festival include the Pickled Brothers Sideshow, which performs fire-eating and sword swallowing, musician Jack Salt, Minstrel Woode, and Dante's Gypsy Circus.
