Ryan Kalish's two-run homer in the top of the 13th inning boosted Pawtucket to an 8-6 win over the Louisville Bats on Saturday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

The Bats (25-32) forced extra innings by scoring once in the bottom of the ninth before Kalish's homer off Federico Baez broke the tie.

Louisville led 6-1 after six innings. The Bats scored twice in the third inning when Wilkin Castillo led off with a double, stole third then scored on Chris Valaika's sacrifice fly. Todd Frazier followed with a triple, then scored on Chris Burke's ground out.

Pawtucket (27-30) scored once in the top of the sixth before the Bats tallied three more times in the bottom of the inning. Wladimir Balentien hit a two-out solo homer, then after a Drew Sutton single Luis Terrero homered to left field.

The Red Sox rallied for two in the seventh in Travis Wood's last inning of work. The lefty allowed six hits and three earned runs while striking out three over seven. Reliever Carlos Fisher, who was optioned to Louisville from Cincinnati on June 1, came on in the eighth and gave up three runs.

Terrero hit his second homer of the game in the bottom of the ninth to knot the score at 6-all. That set up Kalish for his heroic homer off Baez (1-1).

Louisville mounted a threat against Robert Manuel (3-0) in the bottom of the 13th, but with Balentien on second Terrero popped out to end the game.

Balentien and Sutton had three hits apiece to lead Louisville, while Terrero and Castillo had two each.

The same two teams will meet at 6:05 p.m. Sunday night. Again there will be the Kid's Inflatable Play Area in the Hall of Fame Pavilion from 5-8 p.m. Children's character Diego will also appear from 6:15-7 p.m. and 7:20-8 p.m. in the Jackson Street Patio Area.
