This Friday, Louisville's newest nightclub, PRIME Lounge opens it's doors to the public. Owner and party promoter extraordinaire Joey Wagner is opening the club after many years of putting butts in the seats of other clubs around town.
"Taking its name from the location" says Wagner "It's the most prime location in the city."
PRIME Lounge will have an old fashioned feel to it with brick, wood and iron, and big windows. Artwork from Maureens Creations will be featured on the walls of the club.
Wagner, obviously proud of the visual aspect of the club said, "Two flat screen walls will show anything and everything on TV, with the back showcasing a more futuristic, industrial look."
"We will host some of the biggest special events in the city" Wagner stated. "PRIME will feature some of the hottest DJ's from around the country and have at least 4 resident DJ's to keep it fresh. We have big events coming up for Ryder Cup, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and of course, New Years Eve, and we already have a HUGE Derby week planned with celebrity events for Kentucky Derby 2009".
Wagner's company J-Dub Entertainment will also host all of their annual events at PRIME.
PRIME Lounge's Bar should also impress. "We have an unbelievable Happy Hour" Wagner said "Five days a week, from 4pm-7pm. We have an awesome wine, martini , and Signature Cocktail list, and we are the only lounge in the state of Kentucky that will sell Dom Perignon by the glass".
If you get hungry from your late night, Wagner tells us that they'll be be serving brick oven pizza by the slice on the weekends and breakfast from Devino's Deli next door.
"I Think PRIME will be one of the hottest and classiest places to ever come to Louisville" declared Wagner, "With the new arena coming in, and Todd Blue's Iron Quarter going in across the street, we have the prime location. Prime Lounge is locally owned, something different, something fun, and something upscale. I see PRIME in 5 years as still one of the hottest places in this city".
Prime Lounge is available for Happy Hour and corporate events, and private parties. PRIME Lounge will be open from 11:00am-8:00pm Monday-Wednesday, 11:00am-4:00am Thursday-Saturday, and Service Industry Night Sundays from 9:00pm-4:00am. See 'em online at www.primeloungeky.com
