NuLu’s most polite neighbor, Please & Thank You, is pleased to announce the opening of “Mr. Friendly Records”, which will be a record shop in the back room of the coffee shop. The grand opening will take place this Saturday, September 27, just in time for NuLu Fest.

Owner Jason Pierce, who owns the store with his wife Brook Vaughn, have been hard at week this week renovating the back room in time for the grand opening of their pleasant mannered vinyl shop. Mr. Friendly’s will offer additional vinyl pieces to accommodate their existing inventory that customers can currently shop while grabbing their morning coffee.

Who is Mr. Friendly? No one specific, just Please & Thank You's amiable way of being well-mannered in everything they do.

Mr. Friendly’s will also offer cassettes, specially branded T-shirts, and vintage concert T-shirts and posters. The record shop will have it’s own checkout area, but there will be additional seating for Please & Thank You customers.

The hours are set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a possibility of extended hours after the coffee shop closes, as Please & Thank You closes by 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Come out to NuLu Fest this weekend and get some coffee and enjoy the weather, vintage vinyl, and Louisville!
