LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino met with members of the media on Tuesday to preview the Cardinals' Conference USA opener at Houston on Wednesday. Tip-off between the Cardinals (11-2) and Cougars (8-5) is set for 8 p.m. ET at Hofheinz Pavilion and the game will be televised by WDRB.

Louisville has won five straight and 11 of its last 12 games, including a 98-64 victory over Tennessee State in its last outing on Sunday afternoon. Houston is off to an 8-5 start this year -- already one victory short of last season's finish -- but fell 93-80 at unbeaten Texas A&M on Dec. 29 in its last game. It will be U of L's first road game after seven straight in Freedom Hall.

Following the Houston game, the Cardinals will return home to host C-USA foe TCU on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall.
