Have you jumped on the Pinterest boat yet? If not, you definitely should! It’s the new social media site, right behind Facebook and Twitter that allows you to “pin” pictures and videos on to your very own pin board. It is perfect for showing off your arts and crafts, delicious meals, home interiors, fashion finds and much more!

This Friday, Louisville.com is giving you the opportunity to show off your home state, Kentucky! Since Kentucky just turned 220, let’s celebrate together by gathering pictures of our state at one precise minute. At 2:20 p.m. on July 20th, snap a candid photo of anything happening in Kentucky. Seriously, anything. The goal is to keep it simple and showcase the everyday-Kentucky.  It's past 2:20, so e-mail your candid shot to zach@louisville.com so we can post them on our Pinterest page. The best shots will be showcased on our website! They will be up on Monday!

Whether you have a Pinterest account or not, there is no reason to not celebrate Kentucky’s 220th birthday in a unique way. Spread the word; we can’t wait to see what all of Kentucky has to offer in a minute, whether the photos are from your home, office, in traffic, or out while enjoying the summer heat, it doesn’t matter!
