It will take a crew of thirty people, twenty tons of equipment, three huge video projection screens, a fully-computerized intelligent lighting system and nine musicians to pull off the largest production in the history of Coyote’s nightclub (probably the largest production in the history of any Louisville nightclub), but, with the exception of the infamous floating pig with the laser eyes, The Dark Side of the Wall will be a complete musical and theatrical reproduction of the Pink Floyd concert experience.  Two performances by the national touring company are scheduled for Louisville, one on Halloween night (Wednesday October 31st) and the other on Friday, November 2nd.  Coyote’s is located at 166 West Jefferson Street.  Tickets for the two and a half hour show are $15 and are available at Coyote’s box office as well as through TicketMaster.  The show is for ages 18 and up on Wednesday the 31st and for ages 21 and up on the 2nd.   

The Dark Side of the Wall touring company is comprised of Louisville area musicians and is currently booking shows throughout the remainder of 2007 and into 2008 in virtually every major market within North America.  March 2008 will be the 35th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd's seminal album, Dark Side of the Moon, one of the best-selling albums in the history of pop music, and demand for March bookings around this historic event is already high.

Producer Allen Needham doesn’t need to be reminded of one that album’s classic lines, “The lunatic is in my head.”  He laughs when he says, “We’re all already crazy for doing this, but it’s going to be one amazing show.”
