Last month the garden out back was calmly starting up. With the July heat, the patch has gone feral. It's down-right out of control. The cucumbers--they have cried mutiny. A suggestion for those of you with an abundance of veggies? Can it all!

Foxhollow Farm is hosting canning and preserving workshops beginning this Saturday, July 23rd and beyond (--beyond would mean specifically, August 6th, August 20th, and September 10th). The class lasts from 1pm to 4pm with Foxhollow Farm's expert pickler Jamie Shafer leading the class. Attendees will be educated on multiple canning and preserving methods, recipes, and instructions for preserves, jams, pickled veggies. Also, you get to waltz off with everything you preserve during each hands-on class.

Each class costs $30, which includes supplies. Attendance to multiple classes are encouraged!

Kindly contact Foxhollow Farms for more info.
