European Getaway will feature songs from Beethoven, Copeland, Debussy and Milhaud on Feb. 28. Professor Patrick Meighan, Saxophone, from Florida State University, is the soloist for European Getaway. Meighan has performed throughout the continental United States (including the Lincoln Center), Canada, China, Europe, and South America.
The JCC Orchestra was founded in 1915 and is one of the oldest continuous community orchestras in the country. The Orchestra performs a diverse five-concert season featuring romantic classical standards to toe-tapping Broadway classics.
