Every year Halloween, more importantly trick or treating is a huge deal to kids. Norbourne Estates for years has drawn huge crowds, not only their surrounding neighborhoods but also kids from all over Louisville. Dressed in your Halloween costume, kids are invited to parade down the middle of the Boulevard before running throughout the neighborhood to gather as much candy as possible. This year the parade started at 5.
Judging by the cars that lined both sides of the road, this year was no different. Neighbors average that they use about three to four super sized bags of candy every year. Trick or treating ended early, slowing down around 8 o'clock probably due to it being a school night.
Anyone and everyone are invited to participate in the parade, even if they are not residents of Norbourne.
