    Bit to Do

If you've got a taste for the blues with a rock twist and you still haven't found anything exciting to get into this Halloween weekend, I'd like to suggest Stevie Ray's Nightmare on Main St. Greg Foresman and Hellfish will be rocking this Friday and Saturday night at Stevie Ray's.

Foresman, hot off his latest release, Kodiak, will be bringing his blues, jazz, folk and pop influenced rock to Stevie Ray's Oct. 29 and 30. He will be accompanied by his band of seasoned musicians. Kodiak is Foresman's fourth solo release since disbanding The Hammerheads in 1993. He also is currently Martina McBrides lead guitarist and big-name Nashville session player.

Louisville's own, Hellfish will be opening both nights. Hellfish is comprised of big-time players in their own right, having members who have played on tours with Hank Williams Jr. and Lynard Skynard (just to name a couple). Don't be surprised to hear a fistful of lengthy, improvised covers, including a hellacious rendition of "Back Door Man."

The show will start at 7:30 and there is a $5 cover.
