Elmo, Big Bird, Burt, Ernie and the rest of the gang are taking the Louisville Science Center by storm with their new exhibit "Sesame Street Presents: The Body." It just opened July 3rd to great reviews and it runs through January.

The new exhibit is a a result of Sesame Street Workshop's initiative, Healthy Habits for Life. This program was created in response to the growing childhood obesity crisis in the United States (although no one alerted Cookie Monster and Ernie). The exhibit teaches young children how to eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Sesame Street Presents: The Body is a largely "hands-on" exhibit with lots of fun multi-media activities that will keep kids engaged. Its aimed for children ages 2-10, but I'm still planning on taking Jack.

For more information, or to purchase tickets go to Louisville Science Center's website.
