    Bit to Do

Nashville-based band Moon Taxi was cleared for landing to rock a sold-out crowd on Friday night at Headliners Music Hall. I had the wonderful opportunity to check out Moon Taxi at 2013 Forecastle Festival, and again they did not disappoint.

Moon Taxi entered the scene in 2012 with their album Cabaret, and their new album, Mountains Beaches Cities was released in September 2013. Moon Taxi’s performance career started in small dive bars in Nashville, and Moon Taxi now circles the stratosphere full power ahead, docking on some of the largest stages in the galaxy, like Hang Out Festival May on 17th and the extraordinary Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 5th.

Moon Taxi hit the hit the ground running at Friday's show. Headliners is such a great intimate setting for an energetic band like Moon Taxi to engage the crowd. The band seemed a bit taken aback at the sold-out show, and expressed their appreciation to the audience repeatedly. Moon Taxi seems to remain very humble and true to their roots. I predict a long and fruitful career for these guys. Check out the pictures below!
