The Monkey Wrench is going to make this your best summer ever. With a new Spring menu full of locally-sourced, contemporary hillbilly fare, a totally different menu for the upstairs bar, and the introduction of family-style dining, the Wrench is set to become your new favorite restaurant.

First: the Spring Menu is here:

Check out these cast-iron-fried frog legs with Creole aioli and garlic butter dipping sauce:

Second: family dining is being marketed as "Downhome Sundays." From 5 - 9 p.m. you can pay a flat fee ($19 for an adult, $11 for a child) to sit at a big table with a bunch of people and enjoy all-you-can-eat country cooking.

Here's the menu for the family-style dining:

And perhaps most exciting, an entirely new menu is being introduced for the upstairs bar, called the "Lono Lounge at the Monkey Wrench." The rooftop bar and restaurant will open tonight. Here's the menu:

Check out these photos from the upstairs menu:

Broiled head-on shrimp with grapefruit salad (shallots, cilantro, Thai basil, lemongrass aioli) :

Grilled shrimp on sugarcane with cilantro, mint, and Thai basil:

The Udon noodle and Bulgogi beef bowl with sirloin and charred green onions:

So head over to the Monkey Wrench for their new menu, home-style family dinners, Sunday bluegrass brunch and upstairs lounge. Happy dining!
