Celebrating their latest work,
Everything That Remains
, renowned minimalist duo Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus are set to appear at Carmichael’s Bookstore this Sunday to discuss their shared journey into living with less.
Abandoning six-figure salaries and the trappings of successful corporate careers at age 30, authors
Millburn
and
Nicodemus
have become poster children for living life more deliberately. Adopting the principles of minimalism,
Millburn
and
Nicodemus
began to focus on what is truly important including everything from personal growth and health to entrepreneurship and contribution.
Achieving a online readership of over 2 million people at The Minimalists,
Millburn
and
Nicodemus
have written five bestselling books and have been featured on CBS, BBC, NPR, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal to name but a few. They have also spoken at Harvard Business School,
SXSW
and
TEDx
in addition to many other forums in an effort to encourage people across the world to pursue their passions in the most purposeful ways possible.
Sunday’s discussion will highlight the pair’s voyage toward a simpler life and will also include a brief reading, Q&A session and--according to their website--free hugs. Check out this trailer for the tour and read a little more about it here.
The event starts at 7 pm, this Sunday, April
27th
at Carmichael’s on Frankfort Avenue. Tickets are completely free and can be reserved online here. More information about Carmichael’s Bookstore can be found here.
