Vinery Farm in Lexington, Kentucky is hosting a Meet & Greet with Rick Porter and Fox Hill Farms' Havre de Grace on Saturday.

Havre de Grace, who finished fourth in the Breeders' Cup Classic last weekend, is in the running for Horse of the Year and has likely already secured the Eclipse Award for Champion Older Female. Havre de Grace has won three Grade 1 races this year--the Apple Blossom Handicap, the Woodward Stakes (against older males), and the Beldame Invitational. She also has two Grade 3 wins this year--the Azeri Stakes and the Obeah Stakes. Perhaps her most thrilling race this year was the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap in which she finished a nose behind Blind Luck (video below).

Earlier this week, trainer Larry Jones sent Havre de Grace to Vinery Farm for a brief vacation before resuming her racing career in January.

The Meet & Greet will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Vinery Ltd, 4241 Spurr Road in Lexington, Kentucky. Fans will be able to meet and take pictures with the four-year-old Saint Liam filly. Refreshments and special Havre de Grace keepsakes will be provided to attendees.
