The 7th annual Commonwealth Bank & Trust Request-A-Thon presented by Panera Bread is scheduled for Thursday, November 19 at 6 a.m. through Friday, November 20 at 6 p.m. as 102.3 The Max broadcasts live from Westport Village.  Funds Request-A-Thon will enable the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Kentucky Region to grant the wishes of 25 local children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

“This is an absolutely incredible undertaking during a time of such
economic uncertainty” commented Make-A-Wish Executive Director Dan
Koett. “Commonwealth Bank & Trust along with George, Linda, and
Aaron from 102.3 The Max have been absolutely amazing throughout the
sponsorship, planning and implementation of this endeavor” Koett added.

For a measly 25 bucks, Max listeners can call 502-571-WISH and request whatever they want, regardless of music type.  Every donor who pledges $25 or more will also receive the latest "Best of Lambert & Lindsey" CD.

The station will feature touching wish stories during the broadcast where the MAX morning show will try and stay awake for 36 hours!  Wish children and their families will be interviewed live on the air during the course of the 36 hours.

Major sponsors for the Commonwealth Bank & Trust Request-A-Thon include Panera Bread, Texas Roadhouse, Walmart, Insight Communications & AT&T and Westport Village.

Many local businesses are selling Make-A-Wish® stars to support the success of the Commonwealth Bank & Trust Request-A-Thon.  At press time, TGI Fridays at 4th Street, Red Star Tavern and Gattiland are offering Make-A-Wish® stars in exchange for a $1.00 donation.

In addition, Gattiland will also donate 25 percent of all sales from customers stating they are supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® through the Request-A-Thon on November 19 and 20. Also, Amazing Green Planet is hosting a shopping night on November 20 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and will donate 15 percent of all sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® to help grant the heartfelt wishes of some extraordinary children.

Over the past seven years, the Commonwealth Bank & Trust Request-A-Thon has raised over $600,000 and enabled the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kentucky Region to grant 100 wishes.
