Although Feufollet has often been hailed as the future of Cajun music, a more current assessment must admit that they are now the present of Cajun music. Once idolized at an early age for their precocious musicianship and sent all over the world as youthful emblems of Acadiana’s cultural resurgence, the members of Feufollet have, in the meantime, grown into the music as young adults.

Lil Nathan, who released his first CD at the age of 14, has matured into a highly accomplished musician. Like a lot of Zydeco performers, he grew up playing music within a very musical family. As the son of Nathan Williams, Sr., leader of the Zydeco Cha Chas, the nephew of Sid Williams and Dennis Paul Williams and the great nephew of the late Harry Hypolite, Lil Nathan was born with musical talent and nourished in a musical environment throughout his childhood.

Both will take the stage on Friday, February 20 at the Bomhard Theatre to treat you to a French delight of music for the Kentucky Center's annual Mardi Gras celebration.

For ticket information, call the Kentucky Center box office at 502.584.7777 or CLICK HERE

Before the concert, The Kentucky Center is staging a Bourbon Street> blowout in the Mary
Anderson Room starting at 6 p.m.

    The
Mardi Gras Beads, Bar and Buffet event will feature live music, special drinks,
food from Café Lou Lou and Mardi Gras decorations from The Event Company.
