Maddie & Tae dove headfirst into the national country music scene with their song “Girl In A Country Song,” a tune that took a jab at country songs by male singers that describe women in “painted on cut-off jeans,” “bare feet,” and as a “tan-legged Juliet.” Maddie Marlow & Tae Dye will be in Jeffersonville tomorrow to sing that song and others off their debut album to be released August 28.
Saturday’s concert will be held at Jeffersonville’s RiverStage starting at 7 p.m. with openers Clayton Anderson and Love & Theft.
The event is free and open to the public. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome. No alcohol is permitted. Food vendors and a beer garden are available on site. Gates open at 5 p.m.
