The Louisville Orchestra continues its Classics Season tour of great musical cities with a program devoted to Prague. On Thursday, February 3 at 8 p.m. in Whitney Hall, Guest Conductor Andrew Grams will lead the orchestra in works of Mozart and Dvorak.

The program features two works by Mozart, the Overture to Don Giovanni (which was commissioned in Prague) and the Piano Concerto No. 20. Featured guest artist, pianist Jean Louis Steuerman, has made solo appearances with the London Symphonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic and played with many other orchestras around the world. The program will close with Prague composer Anton Dvorak's great Symphony No. 8.

Guest Conductor Grams is currently the Resident Conductor of the Florida Orchestra and an accomplished violinist (photo, courtesy of LouisvilleOrchestra.org).

Single tickets range from $20-$75 and are available by calling 502-584-7777 or by purchasing online at KentuckyCenter.org.
