    • "A grand jury today indicted four individuals in Louisville and Lexington on charges of lottery fraud.
      The indictments are part of an undercover investigation by the Kentucky Lottery Corporation. KLC personnel visited various lottery retailers and presented tickets that, when scanned at a lottery terminal, would instruct the store clerk to award a prize." [WFPL]
    • "KFC and Taco Bell both fared the worst in the Chicken and Mexican food categories ranked by 98,000 consumers in Consumer Reports first-ever fast food poll. On a scale of 1 to 10, “from least delicious to most delicious you have ever eaten,” consumers rated Taco Bell a “6” score. That was the lowest of 8 Mexican restaurants led by Chipotle (7.7), Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill (7.5) and Qdoba (7.4). On the poultry side of the plate, KFC’s score of 6.6 fell at the bottom of 8 chicken chains lead by Chick-fil-A (7.0), Boston Market (7.4) and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen (7.4). Louisville-based Yum!     • "Four members of the Louisville Bats were selected Thursday for the International League All-Star team, which will be played July 13 in Salt Lake City against the stars from the Pacific Coast League. Outfielders Jeremy Hermida and Yonder Alonso, shortstop Zack Cozart and catcher Devin Mesoraco were selected, giving Louisville four players in the game for the first time since 1994."
