In its third year, the Louisville Music Awards aims to celebrate the musicians and artists at the forefront of Louisville's diverse and talents music scene. This year is the first year that the awards show will take place at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Today, WFPK DJ Kyle Meredith and Do502 announced those that were chosen by the general public as nominees for Louisville Music Awards.

The winners will then be chosen by a combination vote from the general public and an academy comprised of Louisville music and press professionals. Awards will be handed out on Thursday, November 5 in the Bombhard Theater at the Kentucky Center. Tickets will be available soon on Louisville Music Awards website. You can vote for your favorites in the Louisville Music Awards here.
