The Louisville Hip Mama's may shut down operation in less than two weeks. After the organizer to the Hip Mama's, Joy Bryan just stepped down without naming a replacement, the group is slated to cease operations on July 11th. Unless someone comes forward to volunteer to be the new organizer, all social activities will stop at this time.

The Hip Mama's was founded as a Meetup group in Louisville in 2006 and has over 168 active members. The only requirement for belong is that you're a mom in the Louisville area. The group meets up at various social events from story hours at the library to days at the zoo. Moms can pick and choose events they want to attend.

Anyone can volunteer to step up as the organizer to keep the group going (even if you are not a member already)! If you are interested in becoming the organizer or joining the Hip Mama's of Louisville and lending support go to Meetup.com to create an account.
