The Cards demolished the University of Missouri Kansas City Kangaroos last night at home in the KFC Yum! Center. The Cards were ahead of the Roos for every second of the game. Montrezl Harrell led the team in scoring with 14 points, while Chane Behanan led the team in rebounds with 11.
Former UofL Assisstant Coach Kareem Richardson is in his first year as head coach of the basketball program at UMKC. Richardson is in charge of rebuilding a team that has never made it to post season NCAA tournament play. It was clear from last night's game that Richardson has some work ahead of him.
The team plays again at home on Saturday at 1pm.
