The Louisville Cardinals played the Cornell Bears at home tonight in the KFC Yum! Center. After a technical difficulty delayed the game by 20 minutes, the Cards came out in full force, keeping the Bears to only 14 points in the first half. The leading scorer for the night was Wayne Blackshear with 20 points, including four baskets from beyond the arc. Montrezl Harrell led the team in rebounds with a total of 15. Sadly, we only saw one Trez dunk tonight.

Tonight marked the first regular season game for Kevin Ware since the gruesome leg injury that caught nationwide attention during the Elite 8 game against Duke this past March. Ware had five points in 13 minutes.

The Cards will take on the Hartford Hawks on Tuesday at home in the KFC Yum! Center. Tipoff is at 7:00pm. For those watching at home, WHAS will be showing the game.

    About Adam Creech

I am a local photographer with a love for sports and music. Sometimes, I even like both at the same time. I absolutely love the University of Louisville, and for the past year and a half, I have been interning with the Social Media Department as a photographer. I love it. Other things I love: Manual transmissions, Coca Cola, Taylor Swift, pineapples, Instagram, Zucchini bread, fluffy dogs, and acoustic guitars.
