
Lights Under Louisville has been ranked among the top ten best places for families to view Christmas lights in America by USA Today.
Lights Under Louisville is located in Louisville Mega Cavern. This is a privately owned 100 acre limestone cavern located beneath the Louisville Zoo and the Watterson Expressway that was founded back in 1930. It features underground adventure steeped in history, geology, mining, recycling, and green building technology. Mega Cavern’s Lights Under Louisville is the only underground light show which features a 30 minute tour of more than two million spectacular points of light. Patrons drive their own vehicles through over one mile in this manmade cavern. You see a wide array of spectacular illuminated exhibits, including more than 800 lit characters. This facility is open all year with a year round temperature that hovers at 58 degrees. Haven’t had the opportunity to see this spectacular light show?
