    Hundreds of local school children representing some of Kentucky and Southern Indiana’s best choirs will be given a starring role this holiday season as “Songs of the Season” airs for the fourth consecutive year on The CW Louisville, WBKI-TV from 9:00-10:00pm on December 20 and again Christmas morning, from 8:00 -10:00am.

    The CW Louisville-produced hour-long special is becoming a special holiday tradition! This year enjoy performers from Louisville’s Pleasure Ridge Park High School, John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Indiana University-Southeast, Presentation Academy in Louisville, Wayside Christian Mission Choir, Frankfort High School, Highview Baptist Church in Jefferson County, and Louisville’s Holy Spirit School.

    "This is a special time of the year. WBKI-TV/The CW Louisville is proud to give so many talented performers a chance to perform in primetime on Saturday evening December 20, and again Christmas morning as they spend time with family and friends. There will be seasonal, traditional and liturgical favorites.” said Craig Hoffman, News and Community Relations Director at The CW Louisville, and co-host of the program. Hoffman is joined on the special by longtime Louisville television anchor and personality, Jean West. She can been seen weekdays with her Medical Daily reports on The CW Louisville Live This Morning at 10:00am.

    PNC Bank, The Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Indiana University-Southeast, and The Olmsted in Louisville are sponsors of the broadcast. The 4th Annual “Songs of the Season” may be viewed on Insight Cable Channel 7 in Louisville and on cable systems in surrounding counties. It is also available over the air and on DirecTV and Dish Network on Channel 34. In parts of downtown Louisville and Southern Indiana WBKI-TV can also be viewed on Channel 28.

    Cable partnerships with The CW Louisville allow programs to be watched on over 61 counties in three states. WBKI-TV/The CW Louisville is owned by WBKI SLG, a privately held company. In addition, the company operates the hyper-local television station, LouisvilleNetwork, under a time brokerage agreement in Louisville, Kentucky.
