For years a staple of Cleveland’s festival scene, Fifth Third Bank Abbey Road On The River has moved south to Louisville and promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Bands already slated to appear include The Smithereens, 1964: The Tribute, Liverpool Legends, British Export, Tim Piper & Working Class Hero, and The Backwards. Performers from as far away as
This family friendly three-day event will include Fab Fun Karaoke so everyone can get in on the action. Plus, there will be special screenings of the films A Hard Day’s Night and Imagine, with presentations from such figures as Louise Harrison, George Harrison’s sister. And, of course, there will be plenty of adult and family refreshments and food available for purchase, along with Beatles inspired art, collectibles, merchandise and books.
Performance times are noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, noon to 11 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12.50 (advanced sales) each day for general day passes and $36 on Saturday and Sunday for special reserved seating.
