Things are finally starting to happen at the Little Colonel Playhouse in Pewee Valley, where a severe storm in January damaged the front of the building, which has been home to the Little Colonel Players for over fifty years. Work on the reconstruction of the building face is underway and a capital campaign is being planned to help defray the cost of reconstruction.

While the building is safe to occupy, it is not yet suitable to hold any productions. As a result, the upcoming production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple will be performed at The Anchorage Elementary School auditorium on Friday, April 25 at 8:00 PM, Saturday, April 26th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, April 27th at 2:30.

Season tickets for The Odd Couple will be honored at any of these performances. Season ticket holders are asked to bring their tickets with them. There is ample seating at the School, so reservations will not be taken for this show. Open seating will apply to every performance. The Little Colonel Playhouse will not be able to offer its dinner theater for this production.  They plan to resume dinner with the next production, Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? by Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner at the Playhouse in May.

Performances for Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? are tentatively scheduled at the Playhouse for May 15, 16, 17 at 8:00pm and May 18th at 2:30pm, and May 23 and 24 at 8:00pm and May 25 at 2:30pm. These dates are one week later than the originally scheduled dates and LCP will confirm these dates around May 1, as construction repairs are progress.

In related news, auditions for the Summer Youth show will be moved to May 18th at 7:00pm and May 19th at 7:00pm at the Playhouse.
