The mouse is in the house as Stage One presents the wildly
popular children's story, Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse at The Kentucky
Center, Bomhard Theater Saturday, October 11 at 2 & 5 pm and Saturday,
November 1 at 2 & 5 pm. Directed by Louisvillian Matt Wallace, this
series of children's books by Kevin Henkes tells the story of Lilly, a
spunky little mouse who loves everyone and everything! She is sure the
world revolves around her, and definitely NOT around her germy baby
brother. She wants to be an opera diva, or was it a SCUBA diver, or a
teacher? She loves school, she loves her boots; she is a movie star. But
when she does something for which she will be very sorry, she learns
some hard lessons of patience and what it means to be selfish. Join
Lilly and her friends Wilson and Chester as they learn about fear, love,
CHEESE, and the little joys in life.
