    The Louisville Graphic Design Association (LGDA) is
    accepting entries for the 19th annual "100 Show," a juried competition that
    awards the top 100 pieces of design in the city and region. The public is
    invited to view all the entries prior to judging at the Preview Night, which
    will be held on Thursday, October 16th at 6:00pm at the Cressman Center, 100
    East Main Street. The evening will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
    provided by The Wiltshire Pantry as well as presentations by this year's
    panel of esteemed judges, which includes Chris Eichenseer of SomeOddPilot
    Design in Chicago, Arem Duplessis, Art Director of The New York Times Sunday
    Magazine, and Oscar Fernandez, Professor at the University of Cincinnati's
    DAAP College of Design. Winning entries will be displayed at 21C Museum for
    the 19th annual "100 Show" on Thursday, December 4th and on the LGDA website

    Winners will be selected in five categories including Graphic Design,
    Illustration, Photography, Interactive Media, and Motion Design, all of
    which include both professional and student work. Entries must be dropped
    off at Captive Indoor Media, Butchertown Market, 1201 Story Ave, 4th floor
    on Thursday, October 9th from 12:00pm-7:00pm, with late submissions accepted
    on Friday, October 10th from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Complete rules and entry forms

    About the Louisville Graphic Design Association

    LGDA is a non-profit organization of individuals representing all facets of
    design including graphic designers, web and motion designers, photographers,
    copy-writers, art directors and fine artists in all types of media from
    print to broadcast to digital. Established in 1988 by a handful of
    designers, LGDA has grown to a membership of approximately 225. LGDA exists
    to enhance the quality of graphic design in its home community of
    Louisville, Kentucky, and to educate the general public and the business
    community about the pervasive role that design plays in our everyday lives.
