Live Nation is bringing comedian Lewis Black to the Louisville Palace on Friday, December 11, 8:00 p.m.

According to press releases (and anybody who has had the chance to see the guy live) Black’s performances “provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience”.

The critically acclaimed comic performs over 200 nights a year around the world and is one of few performers to sell out multiple, renowned theatres including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, New York City Center and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  He’s scored a couple of Grammy awards for his recordings as well.
Never content to just grace the state, Black co-starred with Robin Williams in Barry Levinson's "Man of the Year" , appeared as "the fake dean of a fake college" in Steve Pink’s "Accepted" and as the harried airport manager in Paul Feig’s "Unaccompanied Minors".  In addition, he lent his voice to the role of "Jimmy" in Bob Saget's parody, "Farce of the Penguins".
In the midst of a rigorous touring schedule and several TV appearances, Black's first book, Nothing's Sacred AND second book, “Me of Little Faith” debuted on The New York Times Best Seller List.

Tickets are $42.50, $32.50 and $99.00 for a 4-Pack [plus the requisite convenience charges] go on sale Friday at noon. Get them online at www.Livenation.com, the Louisville Palace Box Office or charge by phone at 1.877.598.8703.
