Louisville will host the first annual Snow Flow festival on February 5, 2011 at the American Turners Gym located at 3125 River Road.

The creators of this festival wanted to create a forum to bring "flow" artists together so they can centralize, teach and learn from one another. According to the Snow Flow Fest web site, "psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihály described flow as 'the mental state of operation in which a person in an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and success in the process of the activity.' The end result of flow is a feeling of spontaneous joy, even bliss, while performing an activity."

Ten workshops will be offered this year in Hoops, Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, Poi, Fans, Contact Juggling, and Contact staff. In addition, the evening ends with The Snow Flow Formal, a dance party.
