Was Knobsfest a blast or a bust? I would say it was a blast!

I know the drive from Louisville into the hills of Southern Indiana scares some people away, but Knobsfest was the epitome of a family friendly, small town festival, which can serve as a great break from the city.

As promised by the website and event contacts, there were many fun things to do! Some booth vendors had items for sale by companies such as Scentsy, Mary Kay, and Tastefully Simple. There were also booths selling personalized bags, local sports team gear, and handmade clothing and accessories. The quilt booth was obviously the most popular because, by the time I got there, only a few quilts remained!

The game booths were great fun. One even had an Angry Birds themed game! The kids area, which had loads of activities and two bounce houses, was definitely a highlight. I even saw a couple of my students having a great time!

To end the night, The Louisville Crashers brought the house down (as they always do) with a myriad of songs from different eras and genres. Also, The Phresh Style Krew danced alongside The Louisville Crashers and taught a few fans some new dance moves. Needless to say, there was a lot of dancing and singing along!

In short, I had a great time at Knobsfest, and I hope more people check it out next year!
